I Help at the Local Humane Society

I saw a bunch of dogs and kitties at the humane society. There was even a baby kitty the last time we were there. I found a dog that I like a lot.  He has a short tail, is very furry and loves to play tug of war. My favorite dog there is Widget because he is really funny when he plays tug of war.

When we go to the humane society, we walk the dogs and play with the kitties to entertain them. They have big and little dogs. The dogs are there because they need homes. People should want those dogs.

There was even a dog named Deuce there. That dog was a little excited about things, especially doggy treats. My Daddy hurt his finger walking Deuce. He still plays with Deuce because Deuce is a good and excited dog. He didn't mean to hurt Daddy and I bet he still feels bad about hurting him.

Court is the baby kitty. She really needs a home before she grows up. Court needs a home so she learns about families and friends. She really wants a home. My cat, Quincy, needed a home when we found him. He was hungry and didn't have anyone to love him. Now he has a home and a family to love him. Court needs the same things. Because Quincy was so hungry, he was even afraid of us. I don't want Court to be afraid. You will not believe this, but Quincy was even afraid of our friends. I don't want Court to be like that.

Butters is another dog that really needs a home. He is a very white dog with brown spots. Butters is a shy dog, but sometimes I think he was scared of grown-ups. He wasn't afraid of me when I played with him. He walks good on a leash.

Greta is a long, brown dog with short legs. She cried when I cried. Greta was trying to make me feel better. Greta is a very fast dog that can smell really well. She gives me kisses when she is really excited. Also, Greta isn't very fast when she is on her leash. She can walk on the balance beam all by herself.

You should go to the humane society when they are open and adopt a dog or cat.

Fairy Tinkles and Fairy Pixie Save the Kitty and the Puppy

Once upon a time there were two fairies named Fairy Tinkles and Fairy Pixie. They were best friends who played together every spring and fall. They always helped people and animals. They loved to play hide and seek every day they could.

One winter Fairy Tinkles and Fairy Pixie got to play together. While they were playing they saw a little baby kitty that was about to fall off a big flower. The fairies rushed to the little kitty to help her. The kitty fell. Thankfully, Fairy Pixie caught the little baby kitty.

Fairy Tinkles wanted very badly to keep the little baby kitty, but she couldn't keep her.

UH OH! There was little puppy that was drifting away on the river. Fairy Tinkles and Fairy Pixie rushed to help the little puppy. The puppy sunk!

Fairy Tinkles hurried to find the little puppy in the bottom of the river. She finally found the little puppy in a broken down ship under the water. There was a big, big clam that tried to eat the little puppy.

Fairy Tinkles swam fast to save the puppy and she did. The clam only ate the little puppy's toe. Fairy Tinkles wrapped up the little puppy's toe.

They lived happily ever after and the end.

The Enchanted Princess

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess sitting on a rock with her prince. Her name was Princess Cleotasha. His name was Prince Burt. There was also an evil witch that could cast bad spells.

The evil witch cast a spell that put Princess Cleotasha into a deep sleep. The spell would only be broken if the princess was kissed by handsome prince. The princess was in trouble!

The prince did not know what to do. He didn't like to kiss girls because they weren't always nice. He did have an idea - he would kiss her anyway to break the spell.

The prince kissed her even though it was yucky and Princess Cleotasha woke up from that deep sleep. They got married and lived happily ever after.

My Letter To the Tooth Fairy

Dear Tooth Fairy,

Will you please give me my tooth back? I will give you the money you gave me back because I want my tooth. Would you like that? I want my tooth back because it is pretty, I want to hold it and I love it. Please give me my tooth back. I miss it very, very much. I can't hardly smile because it feels weird because of my gap.

I Like To Homeschool

Momma and Daddy homeschool me. We do that in my Momma and Daddy's bedroom and in our living room. I am learning lots of things. I am learning how to read and how to write my little letters. I know how to write all my big letters. Writing my little letters is fun. Sometimes I cry because it makes me a little sad when I write them wrong. Momma and Daddy talk to me and try to make me feel better when I'm sad about my little letters. Sometimes I change my little letters into big letters and I don't mean to do that.

I know what my "S's" sound like. They say "sssss." Siobhann has the S sound. "Yes" has the S sound and so does Stephen, bicycle and Christmas. Christmas has two S sounds. T, I, B, Q, U and L are my favorite letters. They are easy to write. The letter Q is special because it always has it's friend, U, with it. And, also because it helps to spell "queen" and "Quincy," my cat.

I use an easel to write my write my letters and numbers. I got it when Christmas was here. Santa gave it me. I lkie Christmas because all of my family is together and we get to put up our Christmas tree. It is Jesus' birthday. We make Jesus a birthday cake and we sing "Happy Birthday" to Him. Daddy read the story about Jesus being born on Christmas Eve for night night.

I really like to homeschool. I like it because I get to know my letters and it's really, really fun. I know that Momma and Daddy are good teachers because I love them and I really like them teaching me. I know that I learn a lot when I homeschool because know more stuff now then I did before. I can't wait to learn about maps and animals.
